Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 29, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Stock Dashboard collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the website. By using the website, you acknowledge the practices described below.

Information we collect

We may collect account information such as your name, email address, authentication details, selected plan, saved watchlists, portfolio positions, dashboard settings, and other information you choose to enter into the website.

We may collect usage information such as pages visited, buttons or features used, referrer, timestamps, device type, browser type, operating system, approximate location, and analytics events.

Approximate location

We may save approximate location information derived from hosting request headers or similar network information, including country, region, city, timezone, postal code, latitude, longitude, and continent when available. This location information is approximate and is used for analytics, security, debugging, abuse prevention, and understanding how the website is used. We do not need precise GPS location for this analytics feature.

Payments and billing

Paid plan payments are processed by a third-party payment provider, such as Stripe. We may store billing-related identifiers such as a payment provider customer ID, subscription ID, plan status, billing status, and related metadata. We do not intentionally store full credit card numbers or full payment card details on our own servers. Payment information is processed according to the payment provider’s terms and privacy policy.

Analytics

We may use analytics tools, including Vercel Analytics, to measure traffic, page performance, route usage, visitor trends, and product usage. Analytics may use request information and privacy-preserving identifiers to help us understand how the website is performing and how people use it. We use this information to improve reliability, user experience, performance, and security.

Cookies and storage

The website may use cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies to support sign-in, maintain sessions, remember dashboard preferences, save client-side settings, measure traffic, and improve the service. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may cause some features to stop working correctly.

How we use information

We use information to operate the website, provide account features, save watchlists and portfolio data, process plan access, provide billing support, improve performance, personalize dashboard functionality, prevent abuse, protect security, analyze usage, debug issues, enforce our Terms, and comply with legal obligations.

Third-party services

We may use third-party services for hosting, analytics, authentication, payment processing, database hosting, email or communications, error monitoring, and market data. These services may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services that we do not control.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information to advertisers. We may share information with service providers that help us operate the website, when required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate abuse or fraud, to enforce our Terms, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the website, maintain accounts, provide billing records, support analytics, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce agreements. Some information may be retained in backups, logs, or records for a limited period after deletion from active systems.

Account and data deletion

You may request deletion of your account, saved watchlists, portfolio positions, location records, and related account data by contacting us. We may need to retain certain information where required or permitted for billing, taxes, legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or legitimate business operations.

Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may choose not to provide certain information, but some features may not work without it. You may also request access, correction, export, or deletion of account information where applicable by contacting us.

Children’s privacy

Stock Dashboard is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you acknowledge the updated policy.
